Rob, born to Bob and Gretchen Cady in Cheverly, MD in 1970, moved to Sacramento, Ca in 1971. Grew up playing baseball and soccer until developing a knee problem at age 13. Loosing the ability to run, I began riding as rehabilitation and began racing in 1986 against the like of Steve Larson, the Plymouth Reebok junior development team and the 7-Eleven junior development team. I still reside in Sacramento, Ca and still enjoy the sport and the competition that is cycling. I hope my best years are yet to come. I am supported by my wife Michelle and 2 sons, Morgan 15, and Andrew 17.
